1/26/2024 I did this interview with Bill in June 2008, when he was in Sarasota staring in the Golden Apple production of Chicago. His career is well known, there isn’t anything a performer can do that Bill Hayes didn’t do brilliantly. This is particularly amazing when you know that he had no intention of being a performer.
