12-15-2023    Interview with charming Actor Doug Shapiro as he prepares to star in the one-person production of “Fully Committed” for Sarasota Jewish Theatre on January 31^st – at the Players Theatre. In this interview Doug describes the ironic way he was led to make many of the most important decisions in his life – such as, just as he was about to fill out a college application for the backup career his parents had suggested, choosing instead to fill out the one for Musical Theatre.  Also listen to how he got the role in “Fully Committed” and the interesting discussions he’s had with the director who’d directed another actor in this role many times.
